six60six is the personal portfolio site of Brendt Petersen, a Director/Designer from Phoenix, Arizona, who has worked in the industry for over 10 years both fulltime and freelance. Currently, Brendt is the Director of Motion Design at Metro Ad Group, a design collective studio.
Brendt’s past experience includes working for design and advertising agencies on campaigns for both on and offline media.
Brendt has worked on campaigns for major global brands with leading agencies such as DRAFTFCB, Cramer-Krasselt, DDB, element79 Partners, and has experience as a creative studio director, managing teams of visual designers, motion and sound artists to develop cutting edge, award winning television, advertising and promotional campaigns. Brendt currently leads the motion design initiative at Metrotech for such clients as Canon USA, Data Robotics and Adaptec.
His diverse background includes expertise in brand development, conceptual advertising, graphic design, video production, post production and music composition/scoring. Brendt’s design and technical knowledge, studio leadership and proven ability to innovate have been the foundations of his career. By spanning all media disciplines, Brendt has been a moving force behind such global product launches as the Nokia N-Series as well as the Golden Reggie® award winning product launch of Glaxo Smith Klein’s first FDA approved diet pill, “Alli”.
As VP of Bridges Media Group in Chicago, Brendt both built and led a team of media specialist to creative and technical excellence all while maintaining responsibility for many different facets of creative, production and infrastructure for this fast moving, rapidly growing “hybrid” media company. While working with such celebrities as Mike Ditka, Joe Piscapo and Sarah “Fergy” Ferguson, Brendt created several award winning television campaigns for clients like Culligan Water, RJ. Reynolds/Camel, Blue Cross Blue Shield and Majestic Star Casino.
